Central River City Ripe To Lead Sydney’s Economic Recovery 

City of Parramatta Council is calling on the NSW Government to support  ready-to-go projects that will help stimulate Sydney’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 crisis. In a letter to the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, Rob Stokes, Council has asked that the NSW Government prioritise both public and private investment in the Central River City to boost jobs and the economy.

Like many other Cities during this difficult time Council is working towards building a resilient and sustainable economy, while supporting our people and their communities. Given the critical role Parramatta plays in Sydney’s success, this is a call to arms - to ensure all levels of Government and the private sector contribute to Parramatta and Greater Sydney’s recovery and growth now and in to the future.
